Departures Randazzo Tomb Doucette Mulhern Gem CEO leaves after governing differences Donna Baker recently resigned as president and CEO of the $180M-revenue Gemological Institute of America due to differing views with the board of directors about the direction of the organization, according to the group. GIA provided no additional specifics about the differences causing the split. Baker led the Carlsbad, Calif.-based group since 2006, first as interim president and later as president and CEO.
